Tyres

Day 459: 19th July, 2020

Today we took Zach’s car for a drive to charge the battery and visit some friends. After we left the house I told Martin who was driving, to be careful, as I had two messages from Zach this week from two different readings about our car and its tyres. It does need a new set of tyres but we are reluctant to change them because they are the tyres Zach drove the car on and they mean a lot to us. A few minutes later the tyre pressure warning light came on! We knew it was Zach and he was telling us he was with us. We looked for a petrol station to pull into to add some air and fuel as Zach was very particular about only filling up at a “Shell” station but we didn’t know the area well so we didn’t have a clue where the nearest Shell station would be. Martin felt Zach tell him to exit off of the dual-carriageway we were driving on so we did. A short distance down the road we had just exited from we come to a petrol station and what was it…A Shell! I then went in to pay and as I was stood there, I hear a song playing in the background by a band called “Shinedown.” The attendant started to sing and the first words I heard were “four leaf clover” .. Zach’s car model is called the “four leaf clover” but in Italian “quadrifoglio.” We then went over to our friends house and when we were leaving we met their neighbour for the first time, she had made and brought us some meals soon after Zach transitioned. As we spoke to her the outside light above her door kept flashing on and off, she also commented that was strange and unusual. We know it was Zach saying thank you.
