The job

Day 526: 24th September, 2020

I started a new job today and I knew that Zach set it up. I kept asking him if I was right in thinking it was from him and if so would he let me know. So, I get to work and there were a few people having a chat in the hall talking about the teams and how their group was called the “A Team.” Well, Martin, Zach and I used to call our family the A team. Then, the woman said, well the A team is taken, but you could always call yourselves the “Alpha team!” Okay, now he has just made it clear because his car is an Alfa Romeo and he always called it “The Alfa.” Well, a few minutes later, there was another guy stood next to me with a couple other members of staff and they were talking. He said “slow and steady wins the race!” This is a family joke between Ella, Zach and us. She always used to say to Zach “slow and steady wins the race” and Zach used to tell her if he drove like that he would never win! The last thing that happened today was I decided to stay late and learn how to cash out the till. When we started to close down, the number of our till was 11! Of course it was! It is truly amazing how Zach is showing us so many signs and letting us know he is still right here. I hope this helps any of you who may be reading this as much as it helps us in knowing our loved ones are still right next to us.
