Back in 2022, I woke up in the middle of the night and heard (in my head - not audibly), "Oye, mate! She's a cold one!" Then I got an image of a sleek motorcycle - black and silver. I knew it was from Zach, and I thought that he wanted me to relay a confirmation to someone.
The next morning, I tried to figure out who Zach was referring to, and Simon came to mind. Simon is a very close friend of Martin's and was an "Uncle figure" to Zach. Because they live on The Isle of Man, I never talk to Anne and Simon. So I have no idea what was going on with them!
I sent Anne a message and asked if Simon had recently gotten a new motorcycle. She messaged back that he had!!
Now let me go back and fill in... when I tried to interpret the "she's a cold one" part. I looked online for motorcycles that were black with silver (because I know absolutely nothing about motorcycles), and I found some really sleek ones. I clicked on one of the pictures, and as I looked closer, it said this was a "naked" bike! And I could hear Zach just roaring!! "That would be a cold ride, Grandma!!" 🤣
Now, back to my chat with Anne:
I asked her what color Simon's motorcycle was, and she said black with white (which could be confused with silver). After we chatted a bit, I told her I had a silly question, and I asked if his bike happened to be a "naked" model. Here's what she said:
"Yep, Simon's bike is naked. It's a Triumph Street triple. White and black are the main colours. He's been out on it a few times in the past weeks, and he says it's been a cold ride due to it having no fairing. I bet that's what Zach means."
Ya just can't make this up!! 🤣
