Footsteps

Day 38: 25th May, 2019

I haven't been sleeping that great, as you can imagine and I woke up at 4 am and instantly heard “when we collide we come together.” It’s one of Zach’s songs on his playlist and as I opened my eyes, I saw Zach’s profile shadow outline of his face in the window curtain. I blinked and looked back but it was still there. So while I was laying there, I asked him “where is this vale and how do we get to you?” The phone dinged twice at that exact time and again, no messages, but I didn't get the answer yet. Tonight for dinner, we went to Glenda and Darren’s house, they are Ella’s parents and she brought out candy jars that she had made and in them were Skittles! This explains the visitation I had the other night of the kids with the huge bags full of Skittles candies. Zach obviously knew we were going over and could see everything ahead of time and wanted to let me know he already knew! Another friend of Zach’s had come over to the house while we were at Glenda and Darren’s. She decided to stay and turned on the TV. She decided to watch a Disney movie that had just come on but while she was watching it, she heard Zach’s footsteps upstairs in our bedroom a few times walking around. She said it was so loud that there had to be someone there. She said Scruffy, Zach’s dog was laying on one couch with his head on the armrest starring at something but nothing was there. I know it is Zach as he absolutely loves his boy and he will make sure he knows he is still here for him. She told me that Zach also loved Disney movies and when they were in cadets together, they all went to her house. Everyone but she and Zach fell asleep, so they decided to watch a Disney movie. It makes sense to me then, that he made sure she heard his footsteps in the house and he is watching TV with her again.
