Delilah

Day 44: 31st May, 2019

We went to pick up the van today, and as we stood there signing the paperwork the door to the office that was right in front of us blew shut. There was no reason for it to do that, no wind or anything. We all knew it was Zach. We stopped by the services and went to Burger King for lunch, we were all talking and thinking about Zach and how much we miss him. Then one of the staff members turned around and the back of her shirt it said “Go ahead, say it." On our way home from picking up the van, one of Zach’s friends was with me in the Alfa and another one was in the van with Martin. We both had Zach’s playlist on but weren’t aware of it and we both heard the same songs “Rockstar” by Nickelback and then “Hey there Delilah.” Before the songs played, one of the guys asked Martin what he thought Zach would like to name the van, as he named all of his cars and they were always girls names and he said “Delilah.” Then the song came on! So Delilah it is! After we got back, we walked in to town to get some pictures made for Martin’s parents. We were both pretty upset, crying as you do and a girl in a red t-shirt that said “No drama Please” walked right past us. In case you are unaware, “No Drama” is one of the sayings that Zach is famous for.
