Country Roads

Updated: Dec 8, 2020

Day 14: 1st May, 2019

On the way to the funeral home today, we wanted to stop by the Chester Chronicle, our the local newspaper. We followed Google maps but we couldn’t find it and realised they had moved. Where we ended up, was right outside of the Chester Spiritualist Church. We had no idea there was even one in town. We are thinking maybe it’s Zach’s way of guiding us to learn more about it. After we left the funeral home, there was a busker in town playing John Denver, Country Roads. Now this song is one of Zach’s very favourites. He loved to get in the car and drive along the country roads and he used to play this song all the time. Some of Zach’s friends had told us, that he got a band who were playing in a nightclub they were all at, to play it and everyone in the club sang it with him. We have a video of it on Zach’s phone. Some more friends of Zach’s came over for dinner and after eating, we all sat in the TV room. While we were in there, the door slowly opened again but no one or any dogs were around it. This has happened a few times now. I had decided I would log on to my computer and we could go look through some of Zach’s photos but it seemed to have gotten a virus and we needed the Bitlocker key which we didn’t have. The Bitlocker key, is a code to unlock the computer. There is no way you can open it without the code. Martin shut it down and did a restart and when we turned it back on, the computer had cleared itself and was fine, no key was needed! We have checked with some of Zach’s friends today who work in IT and they say that it is simply impossible.
