An Extraordinary Delivery

It was the day before the anniversary of our daughter Ellie’s transition. It was three years after she had crossed over. There was a knock on the door, and a delivery man had a box with flowers in it. The box was addressed to our house correctly, but the name of the person on the box was wrong: someone called Sarah, who I had never heard of. Anyway, the delivery man said he couldn’t take it away as it was the correct address. He asked me to open the box to see if there were any other clues.

Inside were these lovely flowers and a curious card which said, “Wish these could ease your pain. Sent with all our love Mum and Dad xxxx”.

That was all there was on the card. There were no names. My parents have been in spirit for many years. I have been told, like Ellie, that they never leave my side. Somehow, they managed to send this message at a very poignant time. It was so very apt, and it helped me significantly. Amazing!
