Well it's Father's day today and Martin didn't want to do much but he did say that he felt Zach wanted us to go to a National Trust property we had been to years ago with Zach and that we should take the two dogs on a good walk, so we did. As we walked along, the boys played in the river and this guy called over to us and asked if our dogs were Dutch Shepherds. We said yes they were and went over to chat with him. As we approached him we see he also had a dog and his was a Belgian Shepherd Malinois, the closest relative to Dutch Shepherds but both are very rare and look extremely similar. We got to chatting and as he gave his dog a command, he said "Down Zach!" Martin and I both laughed and said, "Is your dogs name Zach?" He said yep, we then proceed to tell him about our Zach and how the two dogs are his and very special. He then tells us his name is Simon. Well Martin's best friend and nearly brother but not by blood is named Simon, who Zach absolutely adores. We have never heard of a dog with the name of Zach, it was crazy and so wonderful to know Zach was and is always with us but especially on Father's Day.

Yeah, I agree it's not a common name for a dog! So wonderful 💜
